Homemade Healthy Hot Cereal Mix
Homemade+Healthy+Hot+Cereal+Mix

Nothing earth shattering today—just this easy-to-throw-together hot cereal mix that we’ve been lovin’ a lot lately. it’s simple and nutritious and has made our mornings so much happier. Kind of life changing, after all. So I stand corrected. Today I present to you this earth shattering homemade hot cereal mix!! Honestly, I can talk myself into anything! Ha ha!

First and foremost, this cereal just tastes so darn good. No store bought mix can come close.

Plus, it’s full of natural, healthy ingredients, most of which are pantry staples, unless you don’t keep oat bran and/or farina in the house (I do, but then again food is pretty much my life. If you don’t, no fear, they are easy to find and have a long shelf life).

There’s also some cinnamon, brown sugar and raisins thrown in for good measure which means you don’t need to top it with any other sweetener—just grab a spoon and dig in!

And it boils up super quickly which means it’s a totally doable option even on those hectic days!

It may not be the most gorgeous looking breakfast but it totally hits the spot on frosty winter mornings! In fact, I’m actually looking forward to waking up tomorrow!!
